Happy 6 months birthday, Vir! You are half way there to your big birthday! :)
This morning, Kabir greeted you with a hug and a kiss and wished you a happy birthday! :) He's a sweetheart!
He loves to play with you and with your toys, and for me these are the best moments to capture!
This month, we had a few days when all your grandparents were with us, together, so we decided to do your mundan (aka head shave). I was lucky to be able to secure a last minute, appointment with Mr. Henry at Salon Bleu. He did a great job and you were so good yourself. Not a cry!
Here are some befores and afters! :)
Nani is now back in India and we miss her so much! She was a huge help since you were born and now it's more like being back to reality. She misses you and Kabir and asks about you both whenever I talk to her. K has been missing her too.
Right before Nani left, I was able to take some pictures of you boys with her! K had just woken up from his nap, so he was really not in the mood. ;)
Now, you have Dadu and Dadi here to play with you!
You have been spending a lot of time in the bouncer. It's safe and you get good exercise.
You've been putting anything and everything in your mouth. May be your first teeth will come out soon.
You have been trying hard to push and move forward, when we lay you in your crib or on any flat surface. May be you'll crawl soon too.
You are just now starting to sit without support for a sec or two and then you tumble over.
You are doing great with food. You have now had sweet potato, squash, carrots and peas for veggies and pear and prunes for fruit. I haven't seen resistance for anything so far, which is great! :)
Sometimes, I have to tell K, how much you love your vegetables so that he eats his too!
Evenings and weekends are a fun time with Daddy!
This month was big for K too, he graduated from his preschool class! He also rode the school bus for the first time to go on a field trip. He was ecstatic!
You are both so adorable! Can't have enough of you boys!
Vir, I can't say enough good things about you. You're very sweet and very calm and composed. I love you to bits.
Happy Birthday, Sweetie and happy growing up!
Lots of love!
Mama

As the summer started, there were a few festivals we went too. K had a great time on the rides and in general. While you were mostly in the stroller, we did manage to take you in a train ride. Since I was riding with you, I don't have a picture. :(
