Halloween 2014

A 39 year old, a 3.5 year old and a 10 month old made halloween exciting at our house this year!

K was super excited to dress up this morning in his astronaut costume (please pay special attention to the gravity boots!) and join his school parade!

Tarun surprised us by coming to the parade and charmed the crowd! Kids wanted to come close and touch the pumpkin! :)

K had a fun school day! Lots of time in the playground, craft, story time, delicious snack followed by trick or treating!

Come evening, we were ready again for some more fun! This time Vir dressed up too and Tarun changed from a sweet pumpkin to a scary skeleton! Isn't that what halloween is all about! ;)

We went out trick or treating at Great Falls Village and later did the same in our neighborhood with other kids!

Some shots outside the house, after we ended the neighborhood walk!

What an exciting day! It was fun watching Kabir at school and later, trick or treating!

This should be even more fun next year! At dinner, we were taking about putting decorations next time! Can't wait already! :)

Here's wishing everyone a spooky halloween!

Happy 10 months!

Sweetie, you've now entered your double digits...unbelievable!

This post is a few days late, as we were out on your birthday weekend, visiting the Anand family. What a treat to be with them on your monthly birthday! We all had a great time. Ride was a bit tough for you but once you were there, it was a whole lot of fun! Lots of playtime and love from everyone! So much so that, when it was time to come back, you wouldn't leave Ammi! :)

Overall, this was an amazing month! It is hard to believe all that you can do now. There have been things that have left our eyes and moth wide open! Check it out for your self! :)

You don't crawl, you RUN on your fours! Mostly, you want to stand now and you can easily stand for a long duration and pick books or toys and then sit down and get back up! It's fascinating! You are found standing in your crib, waiting, when you wake up from naps and bedtime! It's your favorite position! :)

You tried you hand at the piano, which now K plays with his toes! Yes, tell me about it, he's a clown! :) You didn't just try your hand at it, it felt like you really enjoyed it! You were on the piano for good 20 minutes, playing around with the keys! It was very impressive! :)

You seem to understand what we say to you, especially "No" and you have been responding in your ba ba's and ga ga's. Not just that, you repeat "bye" or "bye-bye", when it's said to you and you're in the mood! :)

You can move by pushing the music table or the walker! It's amazing, to see you can swiftly move them and walk without falling down! You're doing great and this is not all...there's more!

You can climb too! You climb on the lego box to reach to the toy shelves and have been climbing on our bed too!

You have 2 lower teeth and one on the upper jaw that is already out and the other one, just about to sprout!

Kabir and you have been enjoying lots of play time together. You love to watch what he builds with his legos and as I say, de-construct what he builds! It doesn't make him very happy, but he is starting to be smart about it and puts his creations at some height you can't reach them, if he doesn't want them broken.

You love to play with legos, cars, trucks and balls and have also been enjoying some alone time with books. Reading before bedtime, is something we all love! Kabir picks the books and I read them to you both. Kabir longs for this and doesn't want to ever miss the story time with you! :)

This past month, you clapped and celebrated a few birthdays! We were super excited! :)

Great month, love!

Happy Birthday! :) Looking forward to what's next!

Love you a whole lot!

Happy 9 months!

Happy 9 month birthday, big boy! :)

You are getting to be so much fun! See all that you have been doing this past month, from screaming competitions, to playing peek-a-boo, to standing up and climbing short objects. Fun, fun, fun!

You sure have made us all laugh, a LOT!!! :)

You now have two lower teeth! It's very exciting! Can't wait for you to start eating some real food!

You have surely become much more aware of your surroundings. Starting to show signs of stranger anxiety and also getting more clingy.

You brothers have the BEST time playing!

Kabir doesn't want me to take you out of your crib after your naps, as he wants to get in the crib and play with you and that's his way of stopping me from picking you up!

We made a trip to a water park one weekend, while K had a great time, you didn't enjoy it as much. The water was probably a little cold for you. We'll try again next year! :)

You've been enjoying our daily reading time and have also been spending time with the books on your own!

You've been trying to talk. Hard to decipher it just yet but I am sure it's coming soon and we can't wait! :)

We are having to keep a close eye on you, as you can now, pull the expandable gate and go towards the steps. Scary! Time to put the real secure gate in place. You do listen, when you are told not to do something, so that's been working out well. :)

Since you now have been standing quite well with support, we are trying to encourage you to take steps.

That's Mariela, with you! She had a unique way to teach to walk, by wrapping the kitchen towel around you. It was interesting.

We had Ammi, Dilbagh uncle and Madhu uncle, visit us a couple of weeks back and as always, it was a GREAT time spent together! Kabir and you both got a lot of attention and love! :) Kabir, first didn't want them to leave and then was ready to go with them! :) We'll have to make a trip to see them all, soon! :)

Dad's friend visited us from California last weekend. That's him dancing with you on some tune!

Fun end of summer, Vir. Kabir has started back at school, this year doing a 3 day/week Montessori program. That's him ready to leave for school but of-course, he had to come see you first! :)

Next year, you'll join him too, at-least once a day for the "Mommy and Me" program! That will be fun! :)

You are definitely much quieter and content, however, it was a lot of fun seeing your playful side this past month! Keep it up, lovie!

We all love you loads!

Happy Birthday! :)
