Happy 3 months!

Vir,  today you have completed three months! It's been great watching you grow and change!

You have become much more interactive. You have also been giving us your beautiful smiles which are heart melting and infectious at the same time! :)

You are quite a talker and it's a lot of fun interacting with you! Your coo-ing gets us all very excited!

You have been enjoying some play time where you move your arms and push your legs at great speed. You have been holding your head very well too!

You are also able to sit with support!

And of course a few mins in it causes you to tumble! It's cute! :)

Overall, you seem to be tracking well. However, I was rather sad to discover that you have started to show signs of eczema. We have been keeping you well moisturized which is helping keep the eczema under control.

The highlight this month was your first flight and first trip! We went to Atlantis, Bahamas  You did great in the flight by sleeping through most of it both ways!

At Bahamas, even though you were mostly in the stroller, you enjoyed the outdoors. You were always taken care of!

Kabir had the most fun. He was a happy child at the water park, who could stay without food and any complaint all day long!

He also had a great time at the aquarium, the beach and when he was just out exploring!

For the rest of us, we were just happy to be out in the warm weather and seeing Kabir enjoy, was the best thing of all!

O, Dad and I walked with the Sharks! It was very exciting and it sure was the highlight of our trip. Other than that, we did tubing et al! We all took turns so someone was always there with you! :)

It was an awesome trip for all! Can't wait to take you again when you are a few years older! :)

Soon after we got back, my maternity leave got over. It hasn't been an easy transition to say the least. I was in tears when leaving the first day and even now, I am sad when I leave every morning. My days have been long. Currently, Nani is here with us, so at-least I know you are in good hands when I am not around. Coming back home brings back smiles. It's just so nice to see you and Kabir.

You are a very peaceful and happy child. We are so fortunate! We love you a whole lot and Kabir is a proud big brother, who loves you and also loves to be like you! :)

Happy 2 months!

Vir, you are 2 months young today! How cool is that?!?

This month started with us celebrating your first Lohri!

Nani added a special touch by singing a song, I had always heard her sing while growing up. :)

As the month progressed, you became more alert. You have now been staying up longer between naps. It seems like you are already on a three naps a day schedule, of which the afternoon nap seems to be the longest.

You have been good about tummy time since the beginning and are now doing more of it without any compaints.

You have been spending some time in your swing but 10 mins. at a time is more than you can handle.

You continue to dislike the car seat, so last time I took you for your doctor's appointment, I gave you the pacifier and that helped. We have been putting you in the car seat at home, just to get you used to it. You don't like being tied up and unfortunately you have to be in this seat for 2 years. I know already these two years are going to be long and painful. :(

Your did wonderful during your 2 month check up. You are tracking well overall. Still low on the percentile trend but doing well otherwise. You gained a couple of pounds from your birth weight and also grew in height.

You have now been making coo-ing sounds. They get us all excited and we all imitate them. Kabir has the most fun imitating and gets so excited to hear them from you!

The love between you two continues to grow. Kabir is a very loving and caring big brother. He is always checking on you and gives you the sweetest kisses. He can't wait for you to grow up so you both can play together!

Nani continues to love and pamper you!

Look how Kabir jumps into her lap, the first chance he gets! So cute! :)

Story time is part of our every day routine. Not only do I tell you a story or two before your bed time at night, we also read books during the day and that's our shared time with Kabir.

Happy 1 month!

Vir, it's been a month already since you came into our lives and we've been loving it! It's been very busy and it seems that the time is slipping by.

Nani is here with us and has been a huge help. I'd be so lost without her.

Nani and I have been switching duties to take care of you and Kabir so we can spend time with you both. While currently, you need general care and nurturing, K is in toilet training, so we've been managing it all together! Believe it or not, our days have been going away very fast, taking care of the boys we love! :)

Nani loves to pamper you and you two have a heart to heart every day! :)

Kabir has been helping out too and he loves all that he does. He has been handing me diapers, feeding you, patting you when you cry... If he had his way, he'd be doing much more! :) He is really sweet and is very proud to be a big brother! The first thing he tells anyone he meets, is that he now has a little brother! :)


If he hears you cry, he tells me to go to you first. :) He even tries to share his food with you and wants to hold you all the time. He is a sweetheart and I can't wait to see the two of you grow up together and be the best of friends!

I love you both very much and the best part of the day is the time that I share with you both together; whether it is playing, reading or just talking!

In general, this month, you've been mostly at home, a couple of times when you have ventured out, you have made it very clear that car seat is not where you want to be. I hope this changes soon.

At home you've been enjoying massages, warm baths, lots of pampering, play time, story time and  some deep conversations with Dad and K! So far, K does most of the talking but soon it would be you both...can't wait! :)

Sweetheart, you are a true blessing and are extremely precious! We all love you dearly!

Happy one month birthday, sweetie! :) I wish you the very best growing up and look forward to the new developments that will happen next month!
